Amazing the value folks place on 1s and 0s

Whenever I hear about drama-sims and agonizing avatars, my FIRST thought is "this is your second life. Why did you choose such a stressful path?"

BTW Victor, I know you aren't in here often but we totally hijacked your last announcement and I have no regrets.

But why do you care? Bromo doesn't want to run a dieselpunk community anymore. It's not like he's going re-open SC now.

He's not the first Steamlands sim owner to donate a defunct sim to a different community, and if there's another downturn, he's unlikely to be the last.

So, is your criticism of the practice in general? How it was done in this case? Or just an opportunity to stir up angst against an antagonist?

Because I am tired of seeing a community I supported and put money, time and some amount of care into dragged into someone's else fight.

Unless you have proof that Bromo deliberately ruined Seraph City to gift CDS with a new sim, I don't see why I am supposed to get all het up over what my former landlord did his empty sim.

Did he steal funds? Did he renege on promises? Did he not reimburse people's meters? Just what malfeasance did he perpetrate on the citizens of Seraph City?

Tell me why YOU care so much about what happened to Seraph City, given all of the dead, defunct or limping-along Steamlands communities that have littered the grid.

This is why I love you, Magda. Yes, all of this. Vic, I think you are swell as heck, but this situation is one that most of us don't grok. It would help to know your goal for keeping us informed.
