I try so very hard to run from that... there are the occasional times I consider stopping to indulge in the appreciation of that fact... but so far, i'm still too busy running all the time.

by attempting to engage in as many much pursuits of usefulness as one can accomplish... is one way. I don't take time to do much relaxing tasks that I think are more common among others.

Among these, I mostly don't watch tv shows or movies. If I do, it's with a very focused approach of in and out, and I may try to do something else during it or most typically, not finish it and read about how

it was going to go, or whatever I missed. I don't do anything that I think counts as recreational in others minds, though I do some things that I think of as recreational to me, such as car stuff or time with

but I always have some results-focused pursuit in mind. making, fixing, improving something... everything i'll do, i like to put a desired outcome to, or else I'll try and find something else to do.

I do a lot of reading... but never anything very long form, no fiction, and almost exclusively news reports, educational, or something along the lines of analysis or in depth discussion.

I really think I ought to take more time to do more nothing... some things more along the lines of classic or traditional recreation. Maybe/hopefully next year.

Mostly you should do what makes you happy though. Don't do things onlly because it makes other people happy
