iiii would say anything over 50 is prolly too much but it includes a mug so hm
ringer
I wish David's Tea sold in smaller amounts. :| Because I like getting more kinds rather than more of a single kind.
I've spent $70 at Teavanna before

Sani_Caranza: My "budget" is a complex thing because technically I have lots of money, but I also don't know when I'll work next? So it has to last a couple/few months..
Robin
Oooh hmm I see
ringer
I think I'll try to cut my David's Tea down
purlarian
in that case i'd say if you do, don't get any more tea until you have income again
ringer
(The mug is $22 and I don't really need it, but I love the design and it comes with infuser)
Robin
If that's the case I would suggest trying to cute it down a little for now. Still treat yourself but maybe wait until it's a bit more stable
Robin

Robin

Also if the mug isn't limited availability maybe try and buy it later! : )
ringer
It's limited to fall (and they didn't have it last fall).
ringer
I have a skull mug that's perf and I have a union jack mug that's a little small.. so having one that comes with its own infuser would be lovely? And also both the others were gifts, so having one of my own
ringer
choosing would be nice. But, like I said, not entirely necessary.

Also the coco-lemon thai tea is $10, which is a little much.
ringer
So kind of want to try it, but might scrap that for now
purlarian
i'd say get the mug? it sounds like a single-opportunity thing

Sooooooo.. I cut it down to $50 for David's and $18 for Twinings
ringer
I still feel like that's too much, so may cut Twinings down a little more.
ringer
(I have a tea problem guys, you don't even know)
purlarian
but tea is a good problem to have

haha, yeah there are far worse problems to have than tea
I have three dresser drawers full of tea. I don't even DRINK tea all that often
ringer
That makes me feel a little better, haha. I only have like a Teavana box full and a David's Tea bag and a Twinings Special Collections small box set.
ringer
Except I also just bought like 394935 boxes of Twinings
purlarian
pffff

ringer
Liiiiiiiiike 6 boxes. Plus I already have one.
ringer
Which is.. 140 bags of tea
So many tea
ringer
And then I bought like 6oz from David's Tea and already have.. idek.. probs like 40oz.
ringer
Plus like 6oz of Teavana
ringer
Plus like 2oz of that one tea from that place in Ireland
purlarian
speaking of, do you know any -- place in Ireland?
ringer
Oh and like 4oz from Adagio
ringer

ringer
Any what?
purlarian
/ahem/ do you know any good online seller that sells Redbush?
ringer
Um.. in Cork, Ireland. There was this adorable "teas from around the world" shop down the street from our hostel so I bought a tea called "snowflake" that's amazing
ringer
And it's a little old now but I love the smell
purlarian
the pure stuff? i know a lot of sellers water it down, so to speak, so i wanna make sure if i get it that it's pure.
purlarian
naaaw. :-D
ringer
OH and I have like 8oz of tea I bought in Prague
ringer
Ummmmm
I just spent $210 on a teapot so you still haven't matched me for unwise tea expenditure
disclaimer: NEVER TAKE FINANCIAL ADVICE FROM ME
ringer
google tells me red bush and rooibos are the same thing. is that true?
purlarian
i have no idea i've only seen it as redbush and only know it because England
ringer
It says it comes from the South African Red Bush plant. If so, try this: Organic Rooibos - Caffeine-Free South African Rooibos Tea | David...
ringer
(David's Tea doesn't cut their teas unless it says it does)
ringer
Except I don't know if they ship to you. I think so?
ringer
It's a Canadian company
purlarian
from the description it sounds like the right stuff
purlarian
i'll check them out :3 thank you
purlarian
you sound like you usually go through them so that's a good enough vet for me o7
ringer
I know it's a "tea" made from a plant which is technically not tea and has no caffeine. Does that help?
purlarian
yeah, it's the non-caffienated part that draws me
ringer
If you don't need pure, they have a lot of really great Rooibos blends. :3
ringer
White is also super low caffeine, fyi, as are many herbals
ringer
I have this one called Alpine Punch that's like crack but apparently they don't have it in stock right now.
ringer
I think it's winter seasonal. Hopefully they'll have more.
ringer
(Rooibos blend)
purlarian
i know, i just. don't tend to like herbals. <.<; it took me deliberate effort to get used to chamomile
purlarian
ooh, but i'll keep that in mind, ta!
ringer
I understand. Twinings has a ginger lemon that I enjoy that's low caffeine.. and a pure peppermint.
ringer
:v
purlarian
it's why i was happy to find the redbush, it's 'black' tea without having caffeine
ringer
/nodnod.
ringer
They also have "decaf" black tea. Which still has a small amount of caffeine, but about the same as white, which is to say almost none.
ringer
I prefer rooibos myself though.
ringer
OKAY. Irresponsible purchases accomplished.
ringer
Off to bed. Tags tomorrow.
ringer
(Although, to be fair, I spent less today than I made from work.)
purlarian
i might try some white teas sometime then hm. but yes, redbush to deliberately decaffeinated black teas
