Nightcrawler was fucking wonderful. I went into it with pretty high expectations and still loved it. Gyllenhaal has really grown so much as an actor and it's amazing to watch.

*The Good Lie* was a cliche checkist, sort of like that Jon Hamm baseball movie but without sports. A little educational, I guess, but they need to stop making these.

Birdman was.. idek. Amazing. The performances were incredible, the technical aspects/editing were superb, and the way everything flowed and evolved was brilliant. Not sure if I like it, but I respect the hell

out of it and will definitely try to see it again, knowing I'll get more out of it.

ps the best line in Birdman was: "Popularity is the slutty cousin of prestige." Spoken by Norton, which I felt was apt.

I really wanna see Birdman but it doesn't seem to be getting a very wide international release

I'm not even upset it's not a Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law live action movie.
