My dad on the other hand. Wants to learn more about issues. Has valid questions on moral viewpoints and political situations

Things relevant to the world that I like to think about

You've never once asked about my day without either making it about yourself, or understanding the concept of excessively nosy and personal

We have almost nothing in common in interests

You've always made me feel ashamed of wanting to learn things about myself that a mother should teach her daughter

In short being around you and being forced to be in conversation with you. About things you like

one of the most mentally exhausting things I've grown up with
