For the record, I don't consider either of them fully good or fully evil, but Henry is way closer to the Good end of the spectrum than Komaeda.
Nui thought you were cool, Cape Guy
CURSE YOUR SUDDEN BUT INEVITABLE BETRAYAL
if Henry suddenly joined whatever side Impmon was on, he'd just kind of be like
"NO THANK YOU WE DON'T WANT ANY"
Impmon is on team Impmon tbh
Henry could totally get behind team Impmon though tbh
and then I used tbh twice in a row
...and now I'm gonna think about this for reals though
Henry... I'd say he's Chaotic Neutral, leaning towards Chaotic Good? Not there yet necessarily, because the very concept of 'Good' is still quite foreign to him, but given a few years he'd float in there.
The opposite, then, would be Lawful Neutral/Evil... hoo boy.
I think Komaeda would most easily fit into Neutral Evil in practice. He's "lawful" in the sense that he works towards his own little noble goals, but he pointedly rejects people who 'don't get it'.
...Well, not "pointedly rejects". He just moves on without them, because they'll be thanking him in the end. No they won't.
He's very definitely a Knight Templar (thanks tv tropes!), but his status as Lawful is debatable.
Determining Komaeda's alignment in general is a huge and challenging task, let's be real.
...Going back to Henry, you could probably make a case for "recovering Chaotic Evil", which tbh I like a lot more than Chaotic Good.
Granted, he's not as chaotic as he could be, but that's due solely to his upbringing - if he were left to his own devices all his life, you bet your ass he would react very badly to receiving orders.
Even he calls out bullshit after a certain extent, though. He doesn't blindly listen to whoever tells him to do a thing; if they tell him to do the thing and he doesn't mind doing it, then he plays along.
If he does mind it, he kills the person who tells him to do the thing. c:
