I forgot how winter always makes me think it's much later than it is. So it's 9pm and I feel like it's 1am because it's been dark for so looooong.

I don't mind it, but it's incredibly disorienting.

yeah, I'm having the same problem.
When I lived in IL, it was always strange because it was dark at like, 4:30 during the fall/winter.

That always threw me off for some reason.

Yeah here it's like 6ish I think? idk, I feel like I miss the transition every year, so it just jumps from like 10 to 6 in my mind. So 9 becomes the new 1.

Yeah. I mean, I think it did that in Cali, too, but with the mountains, it always seemed to get darker earlier anyway. So I guess it wasn't as strange.

haha I think it gets worse here in winter but I forget?? /sob
I lived in MI pretty much most of my life, so around 5:30 is when I expected it. I don't know why that hour earlier in IL was so strange.
