Its like, silly, but it still bugs me. He was talking to me about an anime he was reading the manga of and he described one of the girls as 'the slutty girl'. I really kind of don't like that word

So I'm like no you don't call people that and left. I came back to him later on just to ask him not to use the word around me again. And I'm like "hey its a sexist word and it bugs me can you not use it."

And he was like. "It's not a sexist word and I was just describing an occupation and it shouldn't bug you."

I would have fought him for it but I didn't want to cause a commotion when I had someone over because I know my parents would have gotten involved once they heard us arguing =___= I'm pretty pissed about it

It's an occupation??? Like wtf. Not sexist? I've NEVER heard a guy get called a slut okay thanks. And NO ONE should say what shouldn't bother me (I do enough of that to myself and it doesn't end up well

for me) so I'm really still pretty angry about this.

Well the character wasn't even a prostitue I guess because I did supply that word so she's just a woman who likes sex or maybe she dresses in a certain way I don't know but either way, it's an incredibly sexist

term because, I don't know about you, but I have never in my life heard a man be called a slut.

If that girl were a dude she'd be called 'pervert' or she'd be seen in a humorous fashion maybe even instead of being called that.
