And please replurk. I will post the results as soon as responses settle down. Thanks!

I have android personal, work is iphone
i switched from a treo to a blackberry to an android - after android got their crap in gear with 2.1/2.2
I could make a list - detailed of the problems with both android and apple phones. When people ask me which is better I explain it. No phone is perfect, it is how you want to USE it that makes it easier/worse
androids biggest issue is that the carrier AND the phone manufacturer can modify the Android OS adding in advertising and apps that are useless and blocks for tethering and wifi ability
iphones biggest problem is it's always behind a little on their hardware, iOS annoys the piss out of me. No widgets (I am addicted to a clock widget) and things like find my iphone just have started doing
things that my 3.99 app Where's my Droid has been doing since I first bought it in 2009
But if you like an easy way to back stuff up - iphone. If you like an easy UI that is the same across all carriers and no matter what apple phone/tablet product you pick up - APPLE
if you like to tinker (like me) android. Most often you will find you are loyal to a smart phone manufacturer for how they lay out the android OS. I loved HTC, but they moved to sense and NOPE. Now I am
in love with Motorola. I tend to choose a phone that keeps as close to the regular stock Android (with only specific modifications to make using the phone BETTER). I also own an asus tablet - and chose it for
(but backing up an android phone - for a new user is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. Google backup is total bullshit, I've nevr gotten it to work at all. I use mybackuppro and I root my phone so I can actually back it
Hope that helps, lol sorry it's long
and I kid you not, because to me iphone JFW (just fucking works) when it comes to backup and whatever if they ever put a front LED notification light that I can customize (like my android, treo, and blakcberry
kesseret: you really need to come out of your shell.

. Thanks!
had - which is why I am trained - years of that light!) then I will move to it. Although I am started to get into the smartwatches and apple's smartwatch may switch me to Apple
smartwatches are going to be a game changer - i am looking into them and smart jewelry because I just want notifications of a phone call without all the hassle of ringtones and bringing out my phone.
I wanted an iPhone but did not want to go to AT&T for my wireless carrier. While I waited for Apple and Verizion to get their collective heads out of their asses I had a Blackberry Storm which was a lemon
after 18 months, upgraded to a Motorola after waiting for the announcement that never came for Verizon and iPhone.
I am now on my second Motorola phone and have no intention of going to a iPhone even though they were available for the last upgrade. My wife got her first smart phone a few months ago, I gave her the option
of iPhone or Android. She picked the LG Lucid 3 phone.
Yet I am a long time Apple / Mac person and have an iPad2, but we also have an Android tablet as well.
I will stick with Android based phones for the long term at this point unless Apple comes out with some kind of game changer other than the iWatch.
Verizon and Sprint had no choice to wait on the phone, apple requires so many network specific changes they decided to bid it to one carrier at first - AT&T won it. I know those network specific changes do
make things very difficult for other phones to work properly (brands), because I spent MONTHS with our carrier (who just got the iphone) troubleshooting across 100 devices throughout our county
tracking down those apple specific network changes that interfered with regular use
I do not own a cell phone. I hate them.
