老鷹一次生下四五隻小鷹，由於它們的巢穴很高，所以獵捕回來的食物一次只能餵食一隻小鷹。

而老鷹的餵食方式並不是依平等的原則，而是哪一隻小鷹搶得兇就給誰吃。

在此情況下，瘦弱的小鷹吃不到食物都死了，最凶狠的存活下來。

代代相傳，老鷹一族愈來愈強壯。
