also ancient inca stones depicting dinosaurs, fakes or real?
Fakes, or misinterpretations. Dragons are popular in many cultures because lizards are present in pretty much all cultures and ancient peoples conflated the oddness of lizards with natural
phenomena they could not understand—just like how many cultures have sky gods or storm gods.
um I don't see why lizards are more odd than birds or spiders or anything else. and yes ancient merican cultures worshiped birds and spiders and everything else but your explanation to the prevalence of dragons
I mean dragons are in European folk law, Chinese mythology, ancient American depictions, I cant remember if it appears in india or Egypt but I have a feeling it did. and the appearance was more enduring than
because of its universality than any other mythology.... I would argue.
i am not convinced as to why
Each culture has a slightly different take on “dragon,” though; there are similarities, but not exact matches—if they were based on actual dragons, the variances would almost certainly be smaller. A dragon
would be an apex predator, so fewer in number than other species, but they would surely also have remains that would have been found by archeology by now. I think a mixture of sources, natural expressions,
animals, etc. are the genesis of the concept of “dragon” in various cultures, but not actual living lizards or reptiles.
im not saying dragons existed but i still refute the point of images or concept being closer than they are, I mean look at the differences in depicting humans through different cultures and time periods
hahaha
