I've never been able to quite understand people who arrange their arrival at the cinema so as to avoid the trailers… I really look forward to seeing them on the big screen
i like watching trailers in the theater but i also sometimes use those 10 minutes to tell myself i still have time to get there before the movie starts
I'm glad Polly responded here. I feel like she's a movie trailer junky and host trailer watching parties and AND might have a top 10 trailer list lurking somewhere.
The original teaser for Tim Burton's 1989 "Batman" was highly influential and probably marked the first time that people bought movie tickets just to see a trailer.
I still have a sour memory of the Stuart Little trailer, which was almost entirely unrelated to the film, but added insult to injury by running the trailer scenes in an end-credits montage
