Oh well. I so enjoy not having to load in all the ia32 libraries anymore. Looks like I get to do that to have group-ban ability. But staying back for main use. Love 64bit stability.

Lotusceriano: The old Mac pasting bug was fixed last year in FIRE-12042. If you're on any version of the viewer that has been released since then, and you did a clean install

of it, then you shouldn't still be experiencing a problem.

If you are, then it's a bug no one has reported yet. If it's being caused by Firestorm, then it won't be fixed without a bug report, so please file one on the JIRA.

That's not what the original bug was; that was for random characters being appended to the end of any paste, regardless of where it was being copied from.

I'm sorry, Lotus, but no bug like what you describe has been reported on our JIRA.

You and I can test it to see what combos of programs result in this, but if it's isolated to Firestorm, a new bug report has to be made. Also, the original paste bug was inherited from SL viewer.

Ok... by "macWord," do you mean the Mac version of MS Word? If so, I just tried it on both Firestorm and SL Viewer. I can confirm it happens to me — on both. So something FS picked up from LL.

Is there some known issue for why every single time I log onto my laptop even though I've done the newest update, even with the hotfix, that my settings reset every single time I go to log on?
Lette

That usually means one of two things: either you're experiencing a silent crash on logout (settings don't get saved if you crash) or your settings folders have been set to read-only somehow.

Welp, def not crashing for sure. And I don't believe anything would have been set to read only unless that would of been on Firestorms end. I guess I'll once again clean install and hope it works.

Firestorm doesn't do it on its own, no. It's really not clear how that happens, but it occasionally does. Clean install might help, yes.
