I have two rolls of Scotch Magic Tape. I am still patiently awaiting proof of their magical abilities. Perhaps I should have opted to spend a few points in use magic device.

Okay. The secret is that the magic is really specific. You have to put the magic tape in a drawer. A drawer where the tape "lives", it has to BELONG in that drawer.
The next step requires some patience. You have to wait, and not peek. Then one day when you need to wrap a gift for a birthday or holiday, when it is late at night, when time is pressing...open the drawer.
Viola!! The magic tape has DISAPPEARED! It will not be in the drawer where it belongs. Even if you completely empty the drawer, turn it upside down, close and reopen it multiple times. Magic tape has vanished.
This does not work as well if you live alone. Unless you have a pet with opposable thumbs.
If ya pull two long strips of Scotch tape offa th'roll and hold 'em close t'each other, they'll push each other away due to th'magic of th'electrostatic force!
