do they ever routinely sit for that long?

I'm not too sure if this is the case, but last time I thought something was still at it's holding place, but it turns out it was just in a truck, driving to the destination and they don't scan the packages

while in transit. But I would call just to check.

yeah call to find out but chances are they forget to scan.

UPS does that rarely - but it happens, if there is a delay UPS will email you - they emailed us once to say stuff was delayed due to a train crash.

USPS is known for not scannign shit, ALL THE TIME
