Despite the challenges, they don't complain. They do admit to being afraid of things like driving in the snow. But they're resilient and adaptable, which is are good survival traits.
And considering some of the young people in that story had been born in a refugee camp and lived their whole lives there, this has to be an exhilarating and terrifying adventure!
