I can only afford BL atm. But, each BL dress, I am modifying ever so slightly to suit my personal taste.
My very very lovely ode to H.P. Lovecraft.
Before anyone raises in arms in protest about the book purse, I know. It'll break my heart, but I will make one.
I will then use the manuscript to make quote lockets for anyone interested.
BUT. The dress itself is going to have buttons replaced for some more suitable...probably brass military ones since I love those so hard core.
I'm probably going to just wear some black or white tights instead of the socks. I have that octopus necklace or one that can replace it with an ominous eye cameo I found.
I have to make the bracelets...thankfully I have enough leather cord to do so. I'm going to add something to the hair bow because that thing looks too bland for my taste.
I'll add a fancy anklet too. I think this'll be pretty neat when I'm done with it.
I have to make a broach to cover over the B under the collar. I am unsure if I like that.
Onto the second coord that I'll probably get in January...
There are a ton of Antebellum homes around the area. This means there's more of a chance to have a fancy dress and go to these places that have been converted into eateries.
I'd make all the accessories. A little at a time.
The tights are going to be bought, of course...but it's so lovely!
I'm going to get those gloves and go and pick a tiny rose from Mom's garden and put it on the globe. I'll see if that's possible, I could settle for a fake one too.
I'll have to find the red shoes...since I have small feet, I can get away with finding some at a shoe store in the kid's section. I know that's cheating but lol...don't care.
the dress itself, I'd get rid of the bows towards the bottom of the skirt. The big one at the waist is detachable.
And that's the Scarlett O' Hara dress. That is what I've dubbed it.
