on the good news side of the coin...I got blacksmith tongs and a leather hide for xmas. So, that is way cool.

How cool! My BIL is a Blacksmith by trade and my man loves to do some smithing for fun.

the tongs are way sturdier than any I have ever made, and the leather will be converted into armor/costume parts
I grew up with someone who became a blacksmith and my cousin does tool and dye.
