you can do that, but I think you could take a visa card you bought from the store, put that on paypal (there might be a fee) then buy lindens

I used to get a throw away number for a certain amount to buy lindens

(from my credit card) and the way Linden Lab is with credit card security your best bet is to NEVER associate your debit card with them.

I don't think PayPal charges show LL on your statement

we have even had issues with our bank/Visa card. It's not a credit, but debit card, but it is a Visa number, and some sites refuse. We were not able to use PayPal, or the Visa card on Skype.
