Some are really expensive, others you can find for under $20. Bettas are worth spending money on, esp the Thai imports because they're so hardy and they'll live a long time.

PetSmart has good bettas sometimes. Petco.. is scary with their bettas imo. But I'm kinda serious about the hobby. Sorry.

I'd just go to the pet store..I wouldn't really want to buy one online and have it mailed to me :/ seems kind of cruel
