photogs--I need help!! My uncle is getting married at the courthouse in 3 weeks and has appointed me as photog. I take well composed snapshots, but could use some pointers on composition and lighting.
Any sources you recommend for a crash course? I have a new mirrorless, but I think I might need to haul out the DSLR and my bounce flash skillz.
Hmmm...I don't know what to recommend for a crash course. Google specific things on YouTube if there are particular aspects of shooting that you're not sure about.
In general, it's likely to be pretty dark inside, so you're right that a bounced flash will probably be very helpful.
Don't be afraid to bump your ISO pretty high...even if your camera has a lot of noise at high ISOs, better to have noise than to have motion blur.
Composition: Don't center the subject (in general), although in a formal portrait that's ok (and expected).
