user profile? meaning accounts on your desktop? did you have it checked and back-uped in case?

I didn't, but I've managed to restore it, just having to watch and wait now

too technical for me XD external hard drive is the way to go

and google drive.. if you don't have a hardrive, those are really helpful..

just log in and save your stuff.. it's one of my back-ups in case my external or usb goes haywire or crazy.

that many things going wrong is very unlikely

im paranoid that way, i guess.. and very unfortunate sometimes..

i've had experiences where i facepalm myself for not having a back-up plan in case i get into something.. and it were traumatizing experiences.. so, i got that attitude for everything, i guess..
