i'll ask the mrs. she has piles of them. i suspect that keeping them in piles is not good maintenance.

I have 2 pairs. Be sure to waterproof them. That's the most important thing you can do to keep them nice.
I usually wear socks, just because I like socks, but you don't have to.
we just did a waterproof spray. Penguin brand I think.
I have slippers from LL Bean that feel the same inside. Can't wait to wear them out!
