I've been having so much fun reading other people's answers
I figure i"ll do some musing on plurk before I jump in the car and drive home
What is the hardest part of playing Nunnally and what is the easiest?
why so many stepford smilers?
oh yay, all three of these kinda flow into each other :3
so! nunnally! what makes her easy is that shes very... thoughtful. And because she is sort of slow and deliberate with everything she does, it make playing her feel very easy
there are less sudden leaps of judgment, or rash actions, and instead she's just kind of mellow and things flow naturally
that's easy to play for me, so just day to day conversations are easy to write
but what's HARD is trying to drop interesting hooks
I JUST WANT TO SHAKE HER, like Nunnally...
she's deffinitely an introvert, and combine that with her not... really wanting to talk to anyone about herself and her past
it jut makes it really hard to give her interesting converations?
like, she's a-okay with just talking about small talk with 99% of people, and the conversation ending wtihout much being said
so trying really hard to make interesting hooks, and stop thread from turning into games of 20 questions, that's the hardest part
I still struggle wtih that a lot, tbh, but it's a fun challenge to work with
and it's one that I often have to deal wtih, although Nunnally is probably my most closed off chracter
because I do love... stepford smilers.... a lot
I'm so predictable in the characters that I play
but going to the second question it's because... I choose characters that have something that I really admire in them
I only want to play characters that I really love, and often I love characters because I find them uniquely inspiring or I relate to them deeply
and I just... I really apriciate characters who try so hard to smile when it's hard
because it's something that I try to do every day and it is hard but I want to be a person who can do that
so to see fictional characters who do it and are such amazing good influences on their friends and people in their stories
and playing them in rp is some kind of wish fulfillment in a way?
since, you know, a human can only forge so many connections in one life, especially deeply important connections
rp provides this micro world where you get to slip into the life of someone that you both admire and relate to, and live a little bit of their life
it jut makes me happy :' )
wow this plurk is cute/????
aldgkha I feel silly typing it out, it's so sappy
but I just love playing nice characters
or, most of the time, both
deliberate kindness is a trait that I value so highly
and I've always just... I draw so much inspiration from stories
even if they're fictional, they feel real, and they give you something to draw on when everything is dark
deliberately kind characters are so important!!!
so even if it's a cheesy ass jrpg I can imagine what a character would do, and it gives me courage and strength to try and do the same
I LVOE THEM, they are ;A;
it's such a hard thing to be, and there can be... so many different people who do that? and in different ways?
they're all unique even if they have that thread tying them together
ALL OF THSE ARE CUTE ANSWERS I LOVE IT
but aw yeah ;; I try to draw inspiration from my RP chars too
right? fiction is just... uuuugh stories are so important
and I love rp,it's a hobby where so many people feel just as passionatly about stories :')
BUT I'M GLAD IT'S NOT JUST ME
but yeah that's the fun of it
we can draw inspiration from our spirit animal rp characters toggether
everybody cares and it's great
I saw your sweet talk about allen in your meme plurk
at least their good traits
GOSH I FEEL EMBARRASSED FINALLY SAYING IT
nah, don't be embarrassed. I know I've had moment just like that
where characters have really pulled me out of sad lonely dark places
