And then start smoking during the middle of the show.
Which, to be fair, is fairly common, because everyone around here smokes weed.
But then during the last act, the only rap act of the show, the performers had someone take over the sound booth, and had the whole audience stand up,
and then someone started passing around a blunt, and another person started a mini mosh pit (in a high school theater, mind you)
And no one knew what to do when the person in the sound booth put on a new track and the performers went off cussing up a storm on a song they wrote about "fuck the government" which, okay, fair enough
it was wild, though. one of their friends with a professional camera was there filming, and one guy i know started encouraging people to get on the stage and dance with them,
and the principal was so shocked he didn't do anything until the very end, where he tried to get them to stop. and he eventually had to go to the sound booth and cut the music and bring the lights up himself
and then the whole stage, performers, cameraman, drugs and all vanished so fast. they only caught one of them, and they had to let him go for some reason. then the whole crowd had no idea what to do
because half of them were parents watching their kids perform, and the other half were students who had just been softcore moshing to an impromptu rap concert
it was strange. my school is strange.
oh my god that sounds amazing but also like what. is. your. school.
it was really cool, but same. things like this don't happen too often, but it's, like, an unspoken rule that someone has to do something big at least once a month. They're not normally this...illegal though.
