I always copy and paste what I want into a plurk post, wait for it to go "Too many characters, remove # of them" and then use the plurk paste option that pops up there.

Everything you've typed gets transferred to the new box, I think?

And then you click 'submit' and you get a link in the box instead. If you want to give this link a name, do like you would with other links with the brackets. c:
