Revisiting this- there are several reasons. 1) they only accept cash deposits between the hours of 9-12 Tuesday-Friday.

2) Bank statements come in French Francs and Euros. French Francs! It's been 13 years!

3) They have all these random pin codes that they never provide you with an original pin for, you just have to dig through mail or email.

Those do sound annoying… well, except the francs, which sounds kind of funny, and very very French
