I'm going to be stopping in PA on my way to Ohio and I was wondering if I should stay in Lancaster or Harrisburg for the night?

I might go out and do some shopping or something while I'm there and I'm just wondering what would be the best town for that

lancaster is nicer in my opinion! theres a nice mall called park city ^^ we go there all the time!
My dad's family is from harrisburg, but....
Go further and stay in Pittsburgh!
Harrisburg/Lancaster is kind the halfway point though 
Yus, but Pittsburgh is so much more fun 
Maybe you could go to Hershey! that's in the middle of the two right where I live and you could go to chocolate world 
you have family here
