I keep telling myself that once I lose more weight that I'll want to wear things like that. But I've lost quite a bit from where I started and I still cover everything up as much as possible.

I'm starting to feel like I'll never be fully comfortable with myself.

who deserves to wear what. You can't make everyone happy, especially since beauty is so subjective. Make yourself happy. Wear what you want. Look good in it. Be comfortable. Don't think about them.

(Although my advice on body image should probably be taken with a grain of salt since I definitely have body dysmorphia and probably an eating disorder.)

restaurant. And guess what ... Hot Topic has them on sale atm we have to learn to accept the parts of our bodies that makes us so self conscious and like you I'm the same way with my arms. I always have

them covered. But this year I plan on wearing shorter sleeves and plenty of dresses XD so we can both do it together. Step out of our own comfort zones little by little together

I used to be self-conscious like it was my job to be. I missed a lot of things, especially involving water, because of how I'd look in a bathing suit or a dress or whatever the event/trip required.

one day, when my family decided we were going to a water park, I realized I was going to be surrounded by strangers. I was never going to see these people again. I wore my suit and I had a blast.

I don't wear shirts over my suit (at one point I wore pajama pants and a t-shirt) anymore.
I don't cover my arms with shawls unless it's cold.

If i want to wear something, I wear it. People will look and think what they want to think. IDGAF what's in their head. I care what's in MY head, and I don't like to torture myself about how I look to others.
