Did you know these are not a new thing? There are many past presidents who had "signing machines" that signed their names. And I've seen them for wedding invites too.
Yeah, I'm sure it isn't something that is 'new', I mean, Jefferson had that weird copy machine that was just another pen attached to his hand so everything he wrote was duplicated.
but i think that they're selling it as a way to send people handwritten notes, which I feel is probably borne out of the fact that we are saturated with digital communication and we're seeing a pseudo luddite
so essentially this group of people doing this new bond machine are touting that they can give customers or whoever that feeling of time/attention to detail/intimacy that a handwritten thing can evoke
