Did you know these are not a new thing? There are many past presidents who had "signing machines" that signed their names. And I've seen them for wedding invites too. :-D

Yeah, I'm sure it isn't something that is 'new', I mean, Jefferson had that weird copy machine that was just another pen attached to his hand so everything he wrote was duplicated.

but i think that they're selling it as a way to send people handwritten notes, which I feel is probably borne out of the fact that we are saturated with digital communication and we're seeing a pseudo luddite

so essentially this group of people doing this new bond machine are touting that they can give customers or whoever that feeling of time/attention to detail/intimacy that a handwritten thing can evoke
