Process for adding someone to checking account...

1. call customer service

2. fill out broken pdf form, and then fax it in

3. becu fucks up and gets the name wrong

4. restart

:-/ ... I'm guessing it doesn't help to point out that they aren't a bank.

had a mixture of experiences with them... Some positive, many neutral, and some negative.

annoyed at them breaking Quicken for several days and not fessing up to it until I called customer service.

LarryB -- I actually now have to go to an office to get it straightened out. What's annoying is that every call to them takes 10-15 minutes to work through their call queue.

never been in a queue with them. Odd.

Combined with some of their changes with regards to fraud (more faxing!), I'm considering switching over to first tech.

It's been bad as of late. Not sure what's going on with them.

First Tech does better shared branching than BECU. We also have an account at WSECU.
