You might like to read the novel Longbourn. It's Pride And Prejudice from the view of the servants. It's very good.

prefers the viewpoint of Longbourn. Many poor servants worked hard, long hours so that a tiny minority of privileged Regency folks could dance at balls. Jo Baker, you're an amazing writer!
