Spooked by a malfunctioning burner, I am suddenly shopping for new range/oven combos. I'm electric and am now a ceramic cooktop convert. Anything outside of Lowe's/HD I should consider?

Absolutely get the double. Bring your biggest pan to check fit. Ajmadison is a great site for searching although mixed reviews on buying
