an anime about making an anime

so many in depth references to industry pros

I knew quite alot about the process of making anime but this pretty much clears up any things about it that were confusing

like I was never quite sure what the character designer did when often the base designs were by one (usually famous mangaka/illustrator) and the character design on the episodes were by someone else

but it's sort of like a proofing role to keep the style consistent

hahah anime is so much more difficult to organise than manga

like you think mangaka's schedules are nuts........

anime studios are way way way more intense

because you have to rely on so many people to make even a one cour show

I'm just.... /screams

they really make the process clear in this! I'm amazed at how much they let newbies do hahaha
