They only paid twice if they left then rejoined iirc, I've never had a glitch like that and I'm in a good few paid groups

no, group fees dont show itemized in the transactions

this is the second time it's happened in a week so was curious if anyone else had heard of it being an issue, I just knew Plurkers would know if it was hahaha

might it show up in THEIR transaction history that they could screen capture? Especially if it shows up twice in the span of a few minutes

so I just joined, and there are good details in my transaction history. I think if it's not a scam they should be able to give you a screen capture showing what they claim

ya it shows up in theirs but not in mine since it's a group join fee. I'd just never had it happen before this past week so I thought it might be a new scam to get in paid groups for free

I was, too! The first time it happened I wrote it off, paid the guy (partly because I was offline). then a woman had the same issue. I could see her in the group when I checked it. she relogged and it showed.

and honestly, it would be a great scam, since there's no way to know if they are legit. plus, some of these group fees are huge if you could get them "refunded"

i also had someone join and think it didn't work...they didn't show up in the list for either of us until we refreshed the group list.

It's really stupid that SL doesn't track those transactions from the group owners end...all we see is "group dividend" in our transaction history. no names.

this was a scam a few years back, perhaps it has reappeared
