Oh, you're not going in order? When I asked this question most people said to start with season 1.

That's what I did, but as the show progresses it gets harder to catch up.

We watched some of 1 last year but Vik didn't really care for it.

Maybe we should go backwards for now! Netflix here only has 7 seasons. How many are there?

The current version of the show has 8 seasons.

Season 1 is the only season with the 9th Doctor. It sets up some characters and situations which become important later on.

I didn't care for the first episode of season 1. I really didn't want to watch anymore. I was really pleased to see Arthur Darvill in Dr Who (who I really liked in Broadchurch).
