I really don't like that the create new post button is on the bottom right. It sometimes blocks me from clicking the view comments on the bottom most post on my screen

The unread count still doesn't update properly, and the create post button covers the view comments button.

the conversations only loading on stages is really not good, since having to scroll repeatedly to get to the bottom takes forever. won't use the plurk app til that's fixed.

Seconding that while I like a lot of the new things, I'm not a fan of individual plurks loading in stages. It can be annoying when plurks get really long and you're still talking in them

hope that each time there is a different little monster running down there. That would be a great surprise for plurk users

I liked when the color of the unread plurks was different from the read plurks. It made it easier to distinguish between the two. And I agree with the awkward positioning of the create new post button.

Is there a reason... a valid reason... why this new app eats up my CPU on my phone? My phone is constantly freaking out now because plurk is overheating my phone and using too much CPU.

On top of the fact it's crashed more times in the last few days than over a year of using it with the old app.

It loads SO DAMN SLOW.... I liked how it loaded before. I click on a plurk and scroll down happily. Now I have to wait an age to scroll down so it can load.

The 'create new plurk' icon gets in the way when I am looking at unread plurks. And once I have read unread plurks that 'you have unread plurks' banner at the top does not go away.

So I have to go back into those unread plurks, even though there are none, and click 'read all' just to get rid of the banner.

I don't think there was a reason to change the UI. At all. It seems to have just made more problems. Especially for me.

Is there a way at all to return to the unupdated version?

it's nice having animated emotes and gifs and a proper character count but to be perfectly honest I'd give them up in a heartbeat for the older version

this one runs slower, will not load full plurks without scrolling and waiting and scrolling and waiting and scrolling and waiting which just increases load time that much more, it's harder to read, it's harder

to hit the right buttons, it's harder to see unread plurks, there's no option to put a quiet period for notifications so your phone isn't buzzing constantly at 4 in the morning, which is a huge problem for

those of us who use their phones as alarm clocks

i miss being able to click on more than an itty bitty space which is blocked by the post button to actually enter a plurk, I miss being able to actually read the comment count easily, I miss being able to

read my replies before posting them

and the little running monster I am so sick of already that I am honestly beginning to hate it, especially as it seems to slow everything down

switching to another app until this is fixed, because the loading replies in stages in particular has broken the functionality for me to the point that I no longer want to use it

I am not going to sit there and scroll for 5 minutes to load a plurk that I could load easily in a few seconds before, especially when you need to back out and then do it again whenever your phone goes to

sleep or you aren't in the application in order to get the new replies that were made then

and also, before I forget about it - who exactly decided to stick the reblog button on every single post, including private plurks/those from private timelines which cannot be reblogged?

the more time i spend with the app, the more i agree with everything emeralddarkness is saying. it's much, much slower than the previous version. it also crashes constantly.

i don't even bother trying to open a plurk on the app if it's over 100 responses anymore. chances are the app will either crash or i'll spend an eternity waiting for it to load the entire plurk.

it's honestly faster to just use the mobile website, which is kinda sad.

this update has literally made me stop using the app, which previously I'd been happily using pretty much every day for over a year

the bandwidth saver is nice, but i'd much rather give up the animated gifs and font size nonsense in favor of better operation.

i'm contemplating it myself. i just don't really know what other app to use that will have notifs in the alert bar...

I've switched over to Plurka and I plan to stay with it. They took a good app and ruined it. Nice job.

plurka is working great for me thus far, for anyone who is considering switching

no notifications unfortunately, but they do have in-plurk refresh instead of having to go back and forth all day like you had to in the official app

and there's functionality that plurk-the-app didn't have, like the option to post friends-only or private plurks to people. That's nice.

hey plurkapp, ever since I upgraded my Note 4 to stock Lollipop, the app keep on crashing upon startup. inspecting the stack trace indicates that it was unable to parse my birthday. I have sent several CRs.

can you please forward it to your devs? the fix should be straightforward if it's just a date parsing issue.
