Why do I suddenly want cheese curds?

We walked a lot through downtown. Did the Underground tour, Pike's Place and of course Cherry St. Coffee. We then took a drive through my old 'hood (Rat City) and ended at (appropriately) Endolyne Joe's.

My friends are members of EMP so they had passes and we wandered through there for quite awhile. I didn't know they had a horror section - awesome! Of course I spent a lot of time in the Star Wars exhibit and

took lots of pictures (for costuming). We went to Dick's and Archie McPhee's. My niece is Hookah Girl so we tried to go to a couple of hookah bars. Did you know that you have to become a member to be in a

hookah bar in Seattle? Washington for that matter? $5.00 and signing a paper that says that you are aware that you are inside and it is going to be smoke-filled. And the sheesha was expensive so we didn't

parktake. We went to one on Minor Ave and I felt like I was walking into the movie Hostel. We didn't stay there either. It was fun, but I don't think my niece liked the weather (I loved it). Has anyone

eaten at a little diner called the Shanty? It was awesome!

I've heard of Shanty, but don't think I've eaten there. Did not know about the hookah bars... That's kind of cool! Sounds like you had lots of fun. Yay.

No, we didn't know about the hookah bars until we got there. It was fun, but really tiring.

Me, too! I'd like to take my niece during the summer so she can concentrate on what we're seeing instead of being cold.
