vendors, releasing limited edition items without any time reference of when you're going to release it--is shitting on some of your best customers... please don't do it.

I'm a bad one for putting up a new product as a limited edition, for something like Woeful Wednesday, then taking a while to actually get the reg versions out.

I have no problem with limited editions if it's just a temporary limited for the regular price.

But I am not willing to pay LOADS for some "rare" stuff to get shitted later when people can buy the same stuff for way cheaper.

I am weird, I sometimes price my limited editions cheaper than the reg versions

well I'm not going to name names, but the vendor in question randomly releases things LE and doesn't give a certain time or anything... so I can never plan to be there to get it

I'm a very faithful customer and I just feel like I never get a fair shake to get something I'm very interested in. -- Which makes me not want to continue doing business with them. This isn't the first time.

I have customers that sometimes feel this way, I always put ten to twenty up on sl marketplace, just in case, at a later day. These LE always have a notecard stating that intent as well, included in the vendor

so customers can't say, hey, why was that brought back out, blablabla.

if it is for an event, and they only want 100 sold or something, I will just offer 80 at the event, it is my way of trying to deal with that

but I get what you are saying, I do give timelines on my limited releases

yeah to be clear, I have no issues with LE items - hell I do that with Ozimals, but I have a very exact timeline where I sell them and everyone knows when it starts and when it ends. (if it's non amount limit)
