I've always thought it was so beautiful looking, but I can't manage to get myself to try raw fish. Just the idea of it freaks me out a little.
love it. The flavours are more intense. Try it!
yes and yeeeesss. it's delicious
some of them are really good...try a cali or a philly roll
I keep trying the vegetarian stuff, thinking I'll like it... I really don't
usually i do not like spicy food but wasabi plus ginger and sushi damnnn nom nom
ive tried about 8 different kinds in different places and i cant so it
No, I just find it gross, I wont touch anything raw and the veggie stuff is blech
Sushi is the only reason I can almost regret being a vegan. Sure there are vegan friendly sushi but uff, it isnt the same.
btw the raw fish is not really raw it 1st frozen then sold to restaurants and they unfreeze it..
and i love prosciutto italian raw meat lol
yes but it wasn't very high quality so i don't think i can make an informed opinion on it just yet
sushi is usually cooked, sashimi is raw stuff
I'd say start simple with something cooked, make it less scary and then explore
I can't stomach seafood at all so I have never tried it, even though I would love to. I just know it'd be a waste.
I'm asian, I've been eating it my whole life.
oh I love that documentary!
They clean the fish really good though so you won't have to worry about the "sea" taste. Sushi chefs are very careful about that and which part of the fish they cut.
MurrMurr: no I'm watching Sushi: The Global Catch. It's similar though.
It's tastier than you think tbh. Better if you eat it with wasabi and soy sauce. Get the dragon roll. That's my fave
Oooh I love it. Especially salmon.
i prefer cooked fish/shrimp in my sushi. not a fan of the raw just cause of the texture
Can't eat it. Wish I could.
paperfairy_: I misread as "I've been Asian all my life."
I LOVE it. It's one of the few things u can eat!
I like it. I can't have any sashimi right now, but the cooked stuff like spider rolls or tempura rolls are good too. They have to be
Tight, small rolls for me though since its a one bite dish. I'm pretty picky.
