its kinda slightly more grey then black though honestly
wait i use Noodler's Black Waterproof Fountain Pen Ink
ah, I am thinking of getting another black to draw with that is lightfast, I don't know if I want to do noodler's black or another one of their blacks
not sure if thats diffrent
I think that is the black, it's their 'bulletproof' ink
its weird because when i draw with my noodler's pen it comes out pretty black
but when i draw with my namiki its kinda light greyish
I used to have a bottle, but I don't know if it was old, or it wasn't closed properly because the ink was odd.
maybe because it's putting down a finer line?
the nib is medium on the namiki
i also use higgins eternal black which is pretty good
Or you have some water in the pen after cleaning it?
no water, i've never had to clean it so far
they both dry pretty fast
as long as you dont soak the page
yeah, I've been doing small drawings on a watercolor block with ink and washes, sometimes they get soaked
its so hard to tell with those samples
i would get the noodler's black if you want to paint over it
the higgins one smears like amotha
yeah, that is what i'm thinking
