yeah definitely. sure tekken has a lot of button combinations but the fighting style is the same. Get a launcher, juggle. Rinse and repeat.
for a game with only 3 buttons, you can't just mash the punch or kick button then expect a combo to come out

Yeah VF feels more rewarding it's like your practice has paid off compared to Tekken.
and I like how despite the lack of character variation ala MKX, each character can have different plastyles depending on the set of moves you choose to stick with
and getting through ALL the moves takes over an hour and that's just one character!
