So those thousands of dollars in medical procedures has been taken care of. Which is just a massive relief for me, I would never want to leave my family with all that medical debt.
One thing that's a little weird tho is that I'm technically classified as disabled now because of the stage of my cancer.
It's a good thing because I get more intensive coverage, but it's the first time I've heard someone refer to me as disabled before.
I am SO glad that got fixed and taken care of. I can't imagine how freaking stressful that would be, even thinking about all of that.
Im glad the financial part is taken care of being classified disabled sucks but it will help you get better things then im for it
wel congratulations, must be a relief to have the money side taken care of
I'm so glad all that finally got straightened out!
YAY for the insurance thing getting solved!
This is great news! It will help so much getting better to not have to worry about medical bills all the time!
Honestly, my biggest fear is leaving my family with any of my debts if something should happen to me. They just could not afford it right now. So it's taken a massive weight off my shoulders.
Hopefully this will have some positive effect on how you're feeling physically too.
It absolutely does, any less stress that I don't have to worry about, is an awesome thing
So, so happy. Now I can get the antibiotics for my chest and once that's taken care of, I can (hopefully) continue to get even better!
I just wish they'd sorted this earlier, so you didn't have to go through the stress. A department store in the UK say 'differently abled', rather than disabled, which I quite like
oh wow, i'm so so so glad to hear that insurance finally came through. GO GO GETTING BETTER! <333
glad it got straightened out.
Do we get better parking now?
MurrMurr: I think that's the first thing my dad said too
That's fantastic! I remember the first time I was referred to as disabled too. It is a little weird.
No line in Disneyland!! Yay!
oh that is wonderful news!
(Now when you come to Europe you definitely have to come to Disneyland - although
ArianaSz gets the no line as well)
Insurance companies give me a headache. I am constantly fighting them over my son's medical supplies. I so feel your pain. So glad it's all taken care of for you. What a relief!
My parents have been amazing, I dont have much of a voice still, cause of the NG tubing, but they've been on the phone with them for hours trying to sort it all out.
I can't imagine having to go through all of that while sick.
You have a whole tiny little army!
super good news! i'm glad they back dated too! in certain cases parents are not responsible for their adult child's medical bills. not that you are going anywhere!
