The questions were good, but agreed with Dede39, it was slowwwww. If they get through 38 in one night, how can they possibly get to 500 in seven?

I only saw about half of it. I'm watching tonight's episode right now.

I'm not sure they can move much faster, really.

AlannaRobbiani: it's true, they can't move too much faster. I guess I was just thrown by yesterday's pacing, but they paced better tonight.

So...if someone got the answer right on the first guess to every question, they would win $500,000?

Supposedly $600,000 actually, since every 25th question correct is a milestone that banks an additional $5k, but that's actually not correct either since there are different question formats.

But of course, that's not going to happen since contestants will not answer on the first try, and maybe get 3 wrongs and then there's a different contestant...

Right. It seems very unlikely they will have someone who even gets past 250, never mind 500.

I programmed to record it starting tonight and I'll catch the prior shows on On Demand
