I've been near collapse and/or vomiting all day

my periods have always been weird and painful, ugh.

Mine have gotten better over the years but I wish I had talked to a doctor about them when they were at they're worst

i feel like society treats painful periods as such a norm it's hard to not just suck it up when really it oculd be something there's a least a partial solution to!

my periods are pretty regular and... unpleasant but usually tolerable? but every few months it's the actual worst thing

yeah that was a thing for me, too. in my case getting on BC was such a simple fix for the issues i was personally happening that after i did it i was like "wow, why did i wait..."

I was on birth control for a while, many years ago. I remember it helping. I'll have to look into it again...

Honestly I'd really like to get my tubes tied. I tried it a few years ago and of course they told me I was too young and I might change my mind about not wanting kids. >:V

And after insects and spiders, the thought of being pregnant and giving birth is my biggest fear. It's just so horrifying.

My mother used to buy me baby dolls and barbies, but all I wanted to play with were my stuffed animals and My Little Ponies.

i used to play "basketball" with the baby dolls my family got me

...which meant i put a laudry basket on the ground outside, climbed onto the roof with the dolls (easy to get to from my bedroom window)

and lobbed them as hard as i could.

that my mom remembers this better than i do and is still surprised when i say i don't want kids makes me laugh

Next time tell her you'd just play basketball with them
