just the huge culture clash I think. And obviously being somewhere where most other people look so human. Though to be fair it's more that he doesn't know how to act than anything else, his main implied love
interest in canon is human.
it's too bad Tess was dropped. she was half shark
Also, trying to make him work in a smut game! Though I intend to keep hammering away at it because it'll be fun once I get past initial awkwardness.
Half shark! that would have been fun.
I thought about apping him to that game called Tanagura initially, but it looked too big and I'm not very enthusiastic about playing that class dynamic with Darc because he's been a slave before and then to
have worked through all that shit just to start doing it again would be too much of a pain for him. Carvaka has a premise I like much better.
This reminds me that I need to tag around in the event planning log. I ran out of time this morning.
Tanagura does seem somewhat daunting. It has a character cap of 150, though, so it'll never get bigger than that.
oh, that's not so bad after all. I thought it was bigger for some reason.
I'm still not sure I'd like to play Darc there just because of the mongrel/elite thing.
Not that it isn't fun to make my characters miserable . But he's done that whole thing before.
i think it just seems bigger b/c of various reasons, yeah. and I totally feel you. I've got a reserve there for one character, but my current main is someone I don't think I could play there cos of the
There'd be way more rebelling than writing porn for Darc in a game like that!
mongrel/elite thing pissing him off too much.
heh, yes that. It'd make him too volatile I thing. There's no way he'd accept it.
in some games, that kind of social issue would be interesting to play with wrt him, and in others it'd just make things too difficult. so I have to be careful about where to play gim
yes exactly. I don't think I could realistically get Darc to gave any sex in a game like that and that's a big part of the attraction of a smut game obviously, heh.
IN carvaka he'll be able to see more of a point to it just as soon as he gets past the initial disbelief and then depression about his world being dead.
at least he hasn't had much time to think about that yet because of getting infected by the plants and then cleanup
yeah. and hey, the books in the library and the upcoming event's explorations could appeal to him.
not sure about the books (I don't think Deimos are big readers, though he could get interested in it if someone else kickstarted his interest), but he'd DEFINITELY be interested in the exploring.
he's not the sitting still and twiddling his thumbs type, haha.
