I can't remember now why I held off on watching it so long, it was all sitting on my DVR.

Octavia might have passed Clarke as my favorite. They are both pretty great but Octavia had a sword which makes her slightly sexier.

Raven was great as always, though she got weighed down by Finn plots. At least Finn is dead so we are all finally free.

Of the dudes I think Murphy clawed his way to the position of my favorite. I just adore the sheer amount of effort he puts in being awful.

Richard Harmon is one of the CW actors I hope have a successful career. He gives a lot of nuance to his stuff. There's always room for funny looking twitchy guys in the scifi character actor ranks.

I also sincerely want Murphy and Clarke to hang out in season 3. Geographically that makes no sense but it would be great.

Clarke is haunted by her crimes! Murphy doesn't fucking care! They could get drunk and eat fallout shelter rations and try to stop Jaha from marrying Skynet together!

But yeah, if you like shows about filthy people stabbing each other, this is a quality show for that as long as you accept the world building doesn't really make sense until season 2.

Oh also, I am impressed with how the escalated the terrible deaths in season 2.

There were quite a few painful, gorey deaths and near deaths the first season but they took it up a notch once they got the makeup budget to do nice facial wounds.

I knew the second was darker but even so, was surprised and delighted that every single character got a chance to get their murder on.

No one's hands are free of blood! Just the way I like my teen dramas.

Okay, I'm now trying to judge how many Murphy being injured photosets I can reblog before it's weird. This is episode 10 of Daredevil all over again.

The 100 makeup department deserves an Emmy for all those facial wounds.

Traumatized teens. Traumatized teens for days.

I'm also impressed by their hair department.

There's a great evolution of style. Starts dry a straight, gradually gets greasier as they adopt braids to keep hair out of their eyes.

Octavia's is great. Single small braids right above the ears at first, adds more twists to pin fly-aways back as needed.

French braids/corn row braids are an under utilized hair style in media. They're so practical and can be adapted for each person's personality.
