How have things been?

Hectic. Very very hectic. I don't have much in the way of details, but I hope your side of the internet is well?

In some ways. It's been long enough that things have been varied.

I've been stuck wondering how best to move forward RPwise, though... It seems like DWRP isn't the best source of RP to rely on for me.

I wonder what would be? I have heard of Insane Journal being okay?

Mostly I've heard of InsaneJournal being about Harry Potter or thinly-disguised-celebrity games. Not sure that's the kind of experience I want...

Honestly I'm leaning more towards something more tabletop-ish, except I'm not sure what would be good places to look for that anymore.

It's particularly frustrating that a couple years ago I moved to someplace with a lot of gaming stores... and the attitude seems as though it leans more towards games-as-games.

As opposed to games-as-RP-venues.

To the point that if you just say "tabletop" without qualifiers, they assume you don't mean RP.

Alternately: I have an idea for a campaign I'd like to run, except for the problems that I don't know who to run it for or what system to use.

And I don't feel like running for just one or two people would be satisfying...

...nor am I confident that a freeform game (or a you-make-up-all-the-traits-so-it-may-as-well-be-freeform game) would suffice to get everyone on the same page.
