[Food] I made the most amazing baked potato for lunch. Crunchy outside, tasty gooey inside and lots of cheese.

any special tips on how to get it so perfect?
poke it with lots of holes with a fork. Wash the outside then dry it and very lightly salt it. Bake it until it's still a little firm in the center then cut a line through the center without going end to end.
push the sides in with oven mitts so it open and put butter inside
bake it for another 10 minutes
delicious
then add cheese and melt it a bit. >>
enjoy

I really want to do that thing ever since I've seen it...

I think the main problem is that here, we don't really get potatoes of that size xD
you can do it with small potatoes too!
also if you do them lengthwise instead with little ones it works pretty well

just have to adjust cooking length and all, will have to see how long it takes

I like to make a dip with ranch and sriracha and dip my potato bits in that
I also periodically make twice baked potatoes and mix in veggies

like broccolis?
scoop potato out of mostly baked potato, blend with milk/cheese/sour cream and sauteed mushrooms, or broccoli, or spinach
or stir in pieces of cooked chicken and herbs after you mash the potato insides
put the mix back in the skins, top with more cheese or put cheese or cooked bacon in the skin before stuffing = tasty potato meal
actually works well with palm sized potatoes if you have the patience to scoop them because tiny twice baked potatoes are easier to pick up and eat.
and the leftover mixed potato makes a good side dish for another meal
