I use SasTech and there is a IM option in the IMbox that I use to send out the notices.

And for the longest time, for some reason, I thought I had to have an IM.

And I recently started to not fill that part out, so it just gives the subscriber the notecard of information on the release.

i just send out the notecard, as i'm fairly certain object IMs count as another message to cap offlines.

Yeah, I thought the message was nice, but I don't think people appreciate it. For some reason, I thought it had to be filled out. I have this thing where I need to fill out everything.

I guess it saves me time, in the end.

I personally do like IM that includes Flickr links, for example. so I can check out things at work. If it's a marketing nc, it'll definitely get lost in my invo and I'll never look at it.
